Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Server Support Specialist to join our team at Jump Restaurant. As a Server Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional support to our servers by ensuring that all tables are properly set, clean, and stocked with necessary items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist servers with food running, ensuring that plates are delivered to the correct guests in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the cleanliness of the dining area and ensure that all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and hosts to maximize seating and ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensure that condiments are pre-portioned and the refrigerators are stocked with necessary items.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards to ensure that they meet our high standards.
  • Follow all food safety standards and systems to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
  • Empty garbage, change linen bags, and dispose of garbage and recycling in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate any comments or information provided by guests to servers to ensure a positive and memorable experience.

Requirements:

  • Full availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A degree or diploma in hospitality or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Smart Serve certification is a requirement.
  • High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational skills and ability to take direction and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong oral communication skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • High level of product knowledge and ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
