Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to management and staff, including coordinating mail, answering calls, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Order office supplies, place and receive orders, and maintain inventory.
  • Send and receive couriers, stamp and mail outgoing correspondence, and deliver mail to the post box daily.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive office filing system for reference materials, reports, and documents.
  • Schedule staff for regular rotations as directed by the Community Manager.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current residents and assist residents as needed.
  • Assist with managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping functions as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school graduation and successful completion of Office Procedures or Office Management Coursework, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience in operating and administering an electronic payroll and scheduling program.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when dealing with residents and the public.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, manage time, and prioritize work.
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in Home and Community Care an asset.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative to complete work in the absence of direct supervision and constant direction.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector - Criminal Record Check.
  • Immunization Record and negative TB testing.
  • Able to provide proof of full and current COVID-19 vaccines.
