Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Shangri-La Restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement menus, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a head chef or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team to achieve high standards of quality and service.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
