Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Shangri-La Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus, including estimating food requirements and requisitioning supplies.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and maintenance.
  • Recruit and train staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
