Cathedral Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to lead our Canadian Health and Safety efforts from our Calgary, Alberta location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and clients.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with operations management and field personnel to ensure Health and Safety goals and objectives are understood and consistently achieved.
- Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans for facilities and field locations.
- Coordinate regional training and awareness programs to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
- Monitor and report on Health and Safety statistical and KPI data to ensure continuous improvement.
- Designation as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or equivalent.
- 10 years of experience in a HSE practitioner/leadership role in oil and gas.
- Certified Energy Safety Canada auditor (internal or external).
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
- Driver's license in good standing.
- Valid passport (travel to USA required).
