Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at SOP Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our delivery drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train: Supervise a team of 3-4 delivery drivers and provide on-the-job training to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Dispatch and Co-ordinate: Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the work environment is safe and secure.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions and co-ordinate repairs and rentals as needed.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
