About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at SOP Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of goods and ensuring that our customers receive their shipments on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Delivery Drivers
    • Manage a team of 3-4 delivery drivers and ensure they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Dispatch and Route Optimization
    • Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all delivery drivers and staff follow health and safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to delivery drivers and other staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to delivery times, damaged goods, or other concerns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in logistics or transportation
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Knowledge of logistics and transportation software and systems
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The work language is English.
