About the Role:

As an Adult Day Service Worker at North Hills Care Centre in Kamloops, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily needs. You will work under the supervision of the Adult Day Centre Program Supervisor, implementing client-centered programs and activities designed to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Your Responsibilities:

">
  • Assist clients in carrying out established programs and activities of daily living tasks.
  • Implement and participate in activation, life skills, recreational, and social activities tailored to meet the needs of clients.
  • Provide demonstrations as required, adapting and modifying activities to suit the special needs of clients.
  • Set up and organize furnishings and equipment for programs and events, accompanying clients as needed.
  • Teach activity techniques and oversee participation while reporting any changes to the supervisor.

This casual opportunity provides day shifts from Tuesday to Friday, 08:30-16:30, on an as-needed basis. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internally posted jobs, including temporary and permanent opportunities. We offer a competitive salary of approximately $25-$32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
