Effective Communication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
About the Role
This is a permanent part-time position offering an exceptional benefits package, including dental and prescription coverage, group life insurance, and an extensive extended health plan. Generous vacation entitlement is also available.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing problems resulting from stroke, head injuries, dementia, degenerative disorders, respiratory issues, and other medical complications. You will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, conducting clinical bedside swallowing assessments and modified barium swallow studies as needed.

Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $42.27 to $52.81 per hour, effective April 1, 2024. We also offer an attractive benefits package, including generous vacation entitlement and comprehensive extended health coverage.

We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist who is able to work well within a team, has good communication skills, and is flexible and enthusiastic. New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.
