About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team in providing support to an individual with complex care needs residing in central North Shore.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Assist with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, washroom care, feeding, and light housekeeping.">
  • Support with respiratory care, meal preparation, and transfers using a ceiling lift.">
  • Accompany the client on trips and outings, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.">
  • Manage the client's schedule, including appointments and social events, ensuring timely arrival and departure.">
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, including medication administration and treatment plans.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience, with a focus on supporting individuals with complex care needs.">
  • Class 5 Driver's License required, with a clean driving record.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.">
  • Fully vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated against COVID-19.">

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $50.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
