Academic Child Mental Health Specialist

Job Title
Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a highly skilled Academic Child Psychiatrist to join our medical services team in Dauphin, Manitoba.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to inpatients at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre and providing support to community mental health services within the region.
The candidate will be a valued member of an interdisciplinary team within the Prairie Mountain Health Region, working closely with community mental health providers and family physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide continuing, comprehensive psychiatric care to inpatients at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre.
- Support community mental health services within the region.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree with specialization in Psychiatry.
- FRCP in Psychiatry or Royal College eligible candidate.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Services delivery system and related community resources is an asset.
- Must have or obtain proof of Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage under the appropriate category.
