About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at AJM Property Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks to maintain our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage and ensure they thrive.
  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Cut grass to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep our properties clean and free of debris.
  • Remove litter and garbage to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to support plant growth and maintenance.
  • Lay sod or seed to establish new lawns and gardens.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Permanent employment is available.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week of work is typical.
  • English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
