About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer to join our team at Janzen Earth Products Ltd. as a Landscape Labourer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, and removing litter and garbage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labour tasks in a fast-paced environment, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, and removing litter and garbage.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
  • Assist in the preparation and application of fertilizers and other materials.
  • Perform tasks related to sod and seed laying, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and perform other tasks as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and work in physically demanding conditions.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
