About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Janzen Earth Products Ltd. as a key member of our grounds maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various tasks related to landscape maintenance, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut and maintain grass and other vegetation in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Remove litter and garbage from designated areas.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including carts and spreaders.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees in designated areas.
  • Apply fertilizers and other treatments to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens as needed.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Reliability and dependability.
