Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer to join our team at Janzen Earth Products Ltd. as a Landscape Labourer - Grounds Maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and landscapes of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Ensure the grounds are well-manicured by removing weeds, pruning trees, and trimming plants.
- Cut Grass: Maintain the grass at our properties by cutting it regularly.
- Remove Litter and Garbage: Keep the grounds clean by removing litter and garbage.
- Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist in the transportation and spreading of topsoil and other materials as needed.
- Lay Sod or Seed: Help to lay sod or seed in areas that require it.
- Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant new bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees as required.
- Apply Fertilizers: Apply fertilizers to the grounds as needed.
- Repair and Maintain Equipment: Assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment used for grounds maintenance.
- Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens as required.
- Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain equipment used for landscape maintenance.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet deadlines and complete tasks.
- Tight Deadlines: Meet tight deadlines to ensure the grounds are well-maintained.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks as required.
- Handling Heavy Loads: Handle heavy loads as part of the job.
- Physically Demanding: The job is physically demanding and requires a high level of fitness.
- Manual Dexterity: Use manual dexterity to perform tasks such as pruning and trimming.
