Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Parsons Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our construction projects, working closely with clients, project coordinators, and quality managers to implement quality control programs and ensure compliance with client contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure quality of construction work
  • Review and verify subcontracted work against project specifications
  • Coordinate with clients on project-specific activities, including inspections and review of documentation
  • Support the implementation of quality management systems and documentation
  • Generate Non-Conformance Reports and coordinate with clients and subcontractors for disposition and closure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or related discipline
  • 10+ years' experience in quality control and/or civil construction, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity
  • Experience with concrete, civil, earthworks, and piling scopes preferred
  • Able to read and interpret civil drawings
  • Familiarity with other discipline drawings an asset
  • Experience using CSA A23.1/A23.2 is an asset
  • Competent knowledge in ASME Codes, CSA Code, and Building Code
  • Turnover experience is an asset
