Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compensation Specialist to oversee the full-cycle payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage bi-weekly payroll processes for approximately 400 salaried and hourly employees.
  • Review time and attendance data using ADP Workforce Now software.
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian software for payroll management tasks.
  • Track employee vacation, sick leave, and lieu days.
  • Prepare labor cost reports and detailed payroll reports.
  • Approve timesheets and invoices for agency staff members.
  • Administer employee benefit plans with Canada Life and company pension plans.
  • Support new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee terminations.
  • Perform various payroll-related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll, preferably with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • PCP/CPM designation or working towards a payroll designation.

Salary Range
