Compensation Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compensation Specialist to oversee the full-cycle payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bi-weekly payroll processes for approximately 400 salaried and hourly employees.
- Review time and attendance data using ADP Workforce Now software.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian software for payroll management tasks.
- Track employee vacation, sick leave, and lieu days.
- Prepare labor cost reports and detailed payroll reports.
- Approve timesheets and invoices for agency staff members.
- Administer employee benefit plans with Canada Life and company pension plans.
- Support new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee terminations.
- Perform various payroll-related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll, preferably with ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Excellent analytical skills, with effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- PCP/CPM designation or working towards a payroll designation.
