Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of the store.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers, including retail salespersons and sales clerks.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
