Human Resources Specialist

As a Human Resources Specialist at BC Hydro, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our talented workforce and driving positive labour relations. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Talent Development
- Design and deliver training programs to develop the skills and knowledge of our employees.
- Partner with subject matter experts to create customized learning solutions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Labour Relations
- Develop and implement strategies to promote positive labour relations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Collaborate with union representatives to negotiate collective agreements and resolve disputes.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on labour-related issues.
- Employee Engagement
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular surveys and focus groups to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with leadership to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business outcomes.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan.
