Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying staffing requirements, screening applicants, and advising managers on staffing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them
  • Collect and screen applicants, ensuring a diverse and qualified pool of candidates
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, providing clear and concise information
  • Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for hiring
  • Arrange interviews with potential applicants and notify them of the selection process
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill staffing needs
  • Prepare job offers and notify applicants of the results of the selection process
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, ensuring employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word

Work Environment

As a Human Resources Officer at Comfort Inn & Suites, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be required to work 32 hours per week and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive team.
