Project Controls Analyst Job Description

Agilus is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Analyst to support our client in the Construction Industry in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the development of project schedules, reviewing execution plans, measuring progress, and ensuring safety and quality components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and update project schedules, progress worksheets, and detail schedules for control and reporting purposes.
  • Record and track progress against project schedules, identifying and reporting deviations.
  • Monitor and validate project quality progress, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Generate project status reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and report project costs against budgets, identifying areas for cost optimization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or a related field. Project Management or Project Controls Certification is an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project controls, planning, scheduling, cost control, change management, risk management, and reporting.
  • Proven experience with cost and schedule control systems, resource planning, procurement, and earned value management.
  • Fluency with unit rates, material and equipment pricing, labor pricing, and other estimate components and techniques.
  • Proficient skills with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Primavera P6.
  • Ambitious, proactive, high-energy, positive, and safety-focused attitude, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
