About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team at ExxonMobil Corporation. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing expert cost and schedule management services to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate cost and schedule data and deliverables in support of benchmarking and tool building
  • Lead the development of project cost and schedule control plans and procedures
  • Coordinate the collection, analysis, and reporting of project cost and schedule control information
  • Administer and facilitate the Management of Change process
  • Participate in bid evaluation and contract price budgeting
  • Ensure familiarity of project controls team with contractor payment terms and contract coordination procedures
  • Lead preparation for gates reviews and advance commitment activities
  • Coordinate development of cost and schedule estimates and estimate confidence packages
  • Perform quality assurance at the project level by monitoring and appraising contractor performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or construction management
  • 15+ years of project controls experience with a focus on cost control and schedule control achievements
  • Certification in project management discipline from a recognized organization (e.g. Primavera, PMI, AACE)
  • Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Adaptability to changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
