Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Guest Service Agent to join our team at Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process check-in and check-out procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Room Reservations and Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an accurate record of room assignments and availability.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, exchange foreign currency, and process guests' departures, including calculating charges and receiving payments.
  • Clerical and Administrative Tasks: Perform various clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, team player, initiative, and values and ethics.
