About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team at Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-In/Check-Out
    • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
    • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • Guest Services
    • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
    • Assist guests with inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
    • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • Will train
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills
