About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team at Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process room reservations, cancellations, and changes.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, assist with guest inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and contact guests to deliver wake-up calls.
  • Administrative Tasks: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies and room assignments.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and ensure the hotel's public areas are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment.
