About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health are seeking highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographers to join our team across the province. As a member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized ultrasound procedures, ensuring proper application of ultrasound techniques and procedures.

About You

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound
  • Sonography Canada certification
  • Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Registration with more than one ultrasound credential is an asset
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures
  • Ensure proper application of ultrasound techniques and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the Diagnostic Imaging Team
