Job Summary

The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled Meditech Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Informatics & Technology Services department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support and maintenance for our Meditech Health Information System.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 2 support for Meditech Expanse modules, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Collaborate with regional Clinical Applications Analysts and ITS division to ensure seamless integration and support of Meditech and associated systems
  • Work closely with front-line staff, physicians, and IT local service desks to provide front-line service and support
  • Assist in managing and triaging Meditech service requests, determining clinical priority and business needs
  • Facilitate effective solutions that align with regional and organizational goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma
  • Minimum three years of relevant healthcare experience
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Meditech applications, including Expanse modules
  • Advanced competency in MS Office Suite and ability to operate computer, hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
  • Demonstrated competency in Meditech Expanse and Internet research capabilities
  • Experience with ITIL documentation and LEAN principles an asset
