Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Meditech Support Analyst to join our team at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our Informatics & Technology Services team, you will provide technical support and expertise for our Meditech Expanse system, ensuring seamless operations and optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tier 2 support for Meditech Expanse, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with regional Clinical Applications Analysts and ITS division to ensure effective system integration and support
  • Work closely with front-line staff, physicians, and IT local service desks to provide front-line service and support
  • Assist in managing and triaging Meditech service requests, determining clinical priority and business needs
  • Facilitate effective solutions that align with regional and organizational goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma
  • Minimum three years of relevant healthcare experience
  • Experience with Meditech applications, with proven knowledge to explain and demonstrate ability for triage support for the relevant Expanse modules
  • Familiarity with Meditech to readily understand the steps to test changes and system upgrades
  • Advanced competency in MS Office Suite and ability to effectively operate computer, hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
  • Demonstrated competency in Meditech Expanse is preferred, as well as Internet research capabilities
  • Experience with ITIL documentation and LEAN principles is an asset
