Job Title: Factory Maintenance Worker

Toute Sweet Cakes and Pastries Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Factory Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our factory, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facilities Management: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs; perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks; move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Factory or plant.
  • Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability.
Working Conditions:

35 hours per week, permanent position, English language, Anglais.
