Job Title: Factory Maintenance Worker

Toute Sweet Cakes and Pastries Ltd. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Factory Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our factory, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs; perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks; handling heavy loads; physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability; flexibility; initiative; judgement; organized; reliability.

Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; experience an asset. Work Term: Permanent. Work Language: English. Hours: 35 hours per week.
