Job Title: Factory Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Factory Maintenance Worker to join our team at Toute Sweet Cakes and Pastries Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Factory Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our factory. This includes sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and clean hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability
