About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Factory Maintenance Worker to join our team at Toute Sweet Cakes and Pastries Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our factory facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners, empty trash cans, and perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Task Management: Prioritize and manage tasks to ensure efficient completion of maintenance work, including contacting contractors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Health and Safety: Perform safety and security checks to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Physical Demands: Lift heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other physically demanding tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Factory or plant setting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
