We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at Fraser Health. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing audiology services to patients in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) standards of practice and Fraser Health's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities- Provides audiology assessment and diagnosis of patients' hearing and neural status, functional abilities, needs, and goals.
- Develops and implements evidence-based intervention strategies to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborates with the interprofessional care team to provide patient-centered care.
- Supervises designated staff and ensures standards are met.
- Participates in approved research, special projects, and quality and safety activities.
- Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC).
- Minimum one year recent related experience working as an Audiologist with both pediatric and older adult populations.
- Knowledge of audiology theory and practice within a patient-centered model of care.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, caregivers, and members of the interprofessional care team.
