Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Clerk to join our Purchasing team at Colas Western Canada Inc. in Surrey, British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and developing strong partnerships with management teams and local/regional suppliers.
Main Responsibilities- Support the purchasing team in resolving Non-PO purchases and adhering to proper purchasing policies and procedures.
- Administer PODs from operations and provide administrative support to the purchasing team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- College degree or university degree in administration, procurement, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of related experience in the construction industry, preferably in purchasing or procurement.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and JD Edwards Software is essential.
Minimum $24 per hour
