Job Title: Accommodation Services ManagerJob Summary

We are seeking an Accommodation Services Manager to join our team at Knights Inn Motel. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for daily operations, recruiting and hiring staff, and supervising a team of 5-10 people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies, ensuring the best possible deals for the motel.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills to deliver excellent service.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate and materials are available when needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hotel or motel industry.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Transportation: Access to public transportation is available.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, client focus, and team player attitude.
