Job Title: Accommodation Services Manager

At Ontario Inc., we are seeking an experienced Accommodation Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accommodation services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:Education and Experience:

We require a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience. A passion for hospitality and customer service is essential.

Work Setting:

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a hotel, motel, or resort environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced setting.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
  2. Recruit and hire staff
  3. Supervise staff and conduct performance reviews
  4. Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies
  5. Conduct training sessions and ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  6. Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities and services
  7. Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  8. Develop and implement marketing plans to drive business growth
  9. Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
  10. Establish work schedules and manage staff rotas
  11. Organize and maintain inventory and supplies
Supervision:

As an Accommodation Services Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional results.

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

A strong proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is essential for this role.

Transportation and Travel Information:

Public transportation is available for staff, making it easy to get to and from work.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to stand for extended periods. A fast-paced environment and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Personal Suitability:

We are looking for a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills, who is client-focused and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is required for this position.
