Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and systems that support our compliance and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide junior data engineers to ensure the successful implementation of data governance practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data infrastructure that meets compliance requirements.
  • Design and implement data pipelines that ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for integration with internal systems and third-party services.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and regulations.
About You
  • 7-8 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, Python, etc.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Expertise in streaming and batch-based streaming technologies including Flink, Kafka, Spark.
  • Production experience with version control tools and containerization, build, and deployment processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with privacy legislation and its implications on data collection, reporting, and compliance.
