Technical Project Manager

We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for product development programs, both internal and those deliverable to our customers. You will be involved in plan/schedule development, risk mitigation, scope management, project costs, roadmaps, resource allocation, and project deliverables. You will coordinate across functional development teams to plan, direct, and manage the delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, critical paths, and resource allocations.
  • Work with subject matter experts, senior management, and engineering to execute the project plan and ensure the project remains within budget, on schedule, and meets contractual requirements.
  • Generate project management bids for development projects, create the WBS, and coordinate bid inputs for the entire engineering bid team.
  • Act as the customer's technical point of contact on program development.
  • Develop, track, report, and analyze earned value metrics as required to understand project performance.
  • Lead/support proposal efforts, coordinating inputs from various project engineers.
  • Understand the relationship of their projects to other development projects, defining a strategic plan to leverage investments across the company.
  • Work with the MMIST engineering teams to cite process improvements and enhance existing documentation.
  • Support the product managers in interfacing with engineering teams to drive actions to conclusion.
  • Support the finance team with project reporting and analysis.
  • Work with the quality team to drive all audit actions and opportunities for improvement.
  • Interact with subcontracts on outsource manufacturing selection related items as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Aerospace, Engineering, etc.).
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP, Prince2, etc.).
  • Experience in an engineering electro-mechanical product setting.
  • Ability to drive projects forward despite ambiguity.
