About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Meltwich Food Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to meet work schedules and deadlines.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Staff Management
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on operations, sales, and other key performance indicators.
    • Establish and maintain accurate records of work schedules, staff performance, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 30-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a high level of energy and productivity throughout the day.
