Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is approximately CAD $78,400 - CAD $98,000, based on a 37.5-hour workweek at CAD $38.07/Hr.

Job OverviewThis role involves performing special procedure examinations in CT in accordance with departmental policy and procedure, observing safe radiation protection practices. The ideal candidate will have certification with the CAMRT, completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography, and one year of recent related experience, including supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the standards of practice and guidelines for Medical Imaging practitioners established by the CAMRT and/or other relevant national professional associations. They will also possess demonstrated ability to develop procedure protocols and manuals, communicate effectively with clients and their families, coworkers, physicians, and other healthcare staff.
This is a full-time position, and the hours of work may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. A Criminal Records Review Check may be required for this position.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography
- One year of recent related experience, including supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of the standards of practice and guidelines for Medical Imaging practitioners
- Demonstrated ability to develop procedure protocols and manuals
