Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist 3, Computed Tomography to join our team at Vancouver General Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform special procedure examinations in CT, adhering to departmental policies and procedures, while observing safe radiation protection practices.
- Operate computerized imaging equipment, process, and archive acquired data, monitoring patient safety during procedures.
- Prepare examination trays and patients for specific procedures, receiving and completing requisitions, and entering relevant data into the radiology information system.
- May supervise at least one Radiological Technologist or a total staff of up to four FTEs, responsible for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Requirements:
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography and one year of recent experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Intravenous Therapy training course completion when required by site practice.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of current General Radiography and CT theory and practices within a client/family-centered model of care.
- Experience working in an acute/trauma center, CTIC, or equivalent education.

Estimated Salary Range: $38.07 - $47.52 per hour (CAD)
