Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in human resources, specifically benefits administration, Leave of Absence (LOA) processing, and other related duties. You will serve as a liaison to field HR, benefit partners, and people leaders regarding all aspects of benefits administration.

  • Administer benefit programs and enrolments utilizing Workday.
  • Facilitate new hire benefits training and assist in employee education development.
  • Liaise with vendors regarding claims, eligibility, and ongoing service.
  • Work closely with Benefit Consultants on reporting and benefits projects.
  • Assist with establishing requirements for HRIS system changes to support new benefit or plan options.
  • Resolve employee questions and problems adhering to benefit policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with accounting department for vendor payments and retirement plan contributions.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Community College Diploma in Human Resources or a related field, along with 2+ years' experience in HR, preferably with benefits administration experience. Familiarity with payroll and benefits software systems, particularly Workday, is highly desirable. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of different benefit plans, provincial health plans, and requirements.

Benefits

We offer an attractive salary package, estimated to be around $55,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
