We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and implementation of supply strategies that support our product launch schedule and drive business objectives. As a Strategic Sourcing Director, you will have a significant impact on our supply chain, bringing value and competitive advantages to the business through customer satisfaction, project implementation, increased profit margin, and quality, innovation, and risk management.

In this role, you will oversee contract negotiation, risk assessment, and mitigation, as well as strategic relationships with suppliers and performance management. You will also direct our corporate social responsibility strategy in terms of global supply and roll out the strategy to achieve objectives and targets of reducing CO2 emissions in our supply chain.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Oversee contract negotiation, risk assessment, and mitigation, as well as strategic relationships with suppliers and performance management.
  • Direct the team and improve it.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with main internal stakeholders.
  • Make strategic recommendations regarding the future of the global supply function.
  • Optimize internal processes and interfaces to improve efficiency and productivity to support BRP's growth plan.
  • Define annual objectives, including targets for increasing profit margin, in collaboration with operating units and finance departments, and have full responsibility for achieving them.
  • Support the management of main strategic suppliers to promote continuous improvement and identify new opportunities offering exceptional value to BRP and customers.

You will thrive in this role if you have the following skills and qualities:

  • Bachelor degree, a master of business administration, or a postgraduate degree in supply chain.
  • At least 10 years' experience in strategic supply and relevant experience in manufacturing industries.
  • Proven skills in negotiation, forming partnerships with suppliers, and decompartmentalized management in a large business.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills; comfortable liaising with senior managers and giving clear, concise, and well-planned presentations to them.
  • Fluency in French and English, as this post requires negotiations with non-French-speaking suppliers in the United States and elsewhere in the world, and the post is performed in a French-speaking environment.

As this is a global post, travel to other facilities and sites will be required to build and maintain relationships with main stakeholders of the business and participate in specific strategic initiatives.

Attendance at the Valcourt office is required three days per week.
