We are looking for a Strategic Buyer reporting to the Manager of Strategic Purchasing to help us develop a relationship of trust with the suppliers, co-workers and industry leaders you work with, and to develop savings plans and targeted sourcing strategies. In this role, you will have a major impact in supporting the organization's growth.

**YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Contribute to the success of the company by finding the best suppliers and managing the purchasing activities of more than $CAD,000 within the expected time, cost and quality of service;
Create value for our shareholders and internal customers through effective category management strategies and, across the company, a positive impact on expenses, cash flow and overall service quality;
Act as a true business partner in the management of its purchasing categories, associate with industry leaders in order to be consulted and be able to influence critical procurement and spending decisions for the organization (market intelligence, call for tenders, supplier selection and contract renewal);
Maximize collaboration through the use of SAP and Ariba, compliance and improvement of internal processes;
Ensure a lasting relationship internally and externally by acting responsibly, transparently and in accordance with BRP's corporate policies, indirect purchasing policy and sourcing guidelines;
In collaboration with BRP's legal department, participate in the drafting and revision of contracts as part of the contract planning, review and negotiation process;
Master contracts and their annexes, from signature to termination (or expiration), and manage post-closing follow-up as needed;
Support the internal client in managing supplier relationships, evaluating their performance and monitoring when required.

THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in administration or other related fields;
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field of purchasing

Bilingualism essential both orally and in writing (French/English)

Knowledge of Google/Windows environment (Doc/Word, Sheet/Excel, Slide/Powerpoint), SAP, the complete Ariba suite and Power BI, an asset;
Ability to develop, monitor and monitor the execution of multiple initiatives at once with proven success in terms of savings and service;
Ability to develop, implement creative negotiation strategies and strategic relationships;
Basic knowledge of commercial law to create standard contracts, understanding company names and incorporation laws, an asset.
