Development Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Development Procurement Specialist to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our Global Sourcing department, you will play a crucial role in developing our new products and supporting our supply chain operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchasing activities for existing production parts in accordance with established procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with logistics, planning, and production sectors to ensure the timely supply of components to our plants.
  • Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
  • Contribute to the development process of new components in collaboration with engineering, quality, and strategic suppliers.
  • Provide project management support for component development from prototype generation to final approval before mass production.
  • Negotiate and respect agreements with suppliers regarding delivery times, cost structures, and fluctuations in raw materials.
  • Manage the parts portfolio budget and regularly update cost prices.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience or training in procurement, administration, or engineering.
  • Bilingualism in French and English, with fluency in Spanish an asset.
  • Strong analytical and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Interest in BRP products and manufacturing processes.
