Dietitian - Eastern Nova Scotia

The Dietitian is a key member of the Nutrition and Food Services team, responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and care to patients across various sites and community-based locations throughout the Eastern Zone. This role requires a strong understanding of nutrition and dietetics, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing nutrition assessments and developing personalized care plans for patients
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Preceptoring and mentoring dietetic students as part of the Dietetic Practicum and Internship program

About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian who possesses:
- A Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from a recognized university
- Completion of an approved Dietetic Internship program
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Dietitians and Nutritionists
- Minimum one year of experience as a Dietitian, preferably in inpatient clinical nutrition
- Competency in dysphagia management, enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Hours and CompensationThis is a permanent position with various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of $32.94 - $43.43 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
