About the Position

The Manager of Nutrition and Food Services supports the Director in ensuring the effective delivery of Nutrition & Food Services in the Eastern Zone. The Manager plans, organizes, and controls all aspects of operations and day-to-day management of NFS within multiple sites.

The Manager champions the integration of nutrition care and food service, providing nutrition care services to patients, residents, and clients in institutional, ambulatory, and community settings.

About the Role
  • Implement nutrition care standards and monitor clinical dietetic performance
  • Manage the nutritional component of NFS and maintain professional competency and skills
  • Ensure all safety, quality, and clinical/nutrition care standards are maintained
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program
  • Membership in a professional association, such as Dietitians of Canada
  • Five (5) years' progressive management experience in healthcare as a dietitian
  • Experience in scope of practice for dietitians, dietetic technicians, and food service supervisors, and food service management
