Job Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for driving sales and profit growth in the store by setting a plan to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This includes ensuring the store team is well-trained, motivated, and equipped to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Profit: Regularly analyze and follow up on sales and profit KPIs, taking actions to maximize results.
  • Store Operations: Ensure store operations, H&M standards, and best practices are followed, including proper scheduling to maximize conversion and enable commercial activities.
  • Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service, keeping within the sales budget of allocated hours.
  • Team Management: Oversee and manage recruitment, training, development, and succession planning for the store team.
  • Performance Management: Evaluate and manage the performance of store team members, executing dialogues, development plans, feedback, and follow-ups.
  • Communication: Ensure regular and clear communication to the store team on business performance, company culture and values, and country/sales market/area/store goals.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety, legal, and security issues are being handled to H&M standards and local laws, securing employee and customer safety at all times.
Requirements:
  • Outcome Driven: Planning, engagement, and motivation to bring results to fruition.
  • Leadership Experience: 2-3+ years of transferable experience leading management-level employees welcome.
  • Travel: May be required to travel as necessary to support other stores, attend meetings, and training.
