Oncology Sales Consultant

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oncology Sales Consultant to join our team at Lilly. As a key member of our Oncology portfolio growth team, you will be responsible for delivering superior customer experiences by identifying critical needs and delivering solutions at the account/center and national level.

Your territory will be Ontario, and you will be required to travel 50-70% across the province with occasional overnight stays. You will work closely with key Oncology centers and thought leaders to shape the environment to support access to and use of Lilly Oncology therapies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams to drive access and appropriate utilization of Lilly Oncology products for patients
  • Providing relevant and timely product information and service
  • Establishing a positive reputation for Lilly Oncology within key institutions
  • Supporting cross-functional teams in thought leader planning and engagement for commercial initiatives
  • Developing trusting relationships with national and regional thought leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Gathering insights and leveraging sales performance data, formulary considerations, and competitive intelligence to diagnose issues and uncover opportunities
  • Effectively working with external stakeholders and internal cross-functional partners while balancing ethical, compliance, and documentation requirements
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers through digital and in-person channels
  • Developing innovative customer engagement solutions in collaboration with cross-functional partners

Qualifications include:

  • University degree; advanced science degree is a strong asset
  • Well-established relationships with key Oncology centers and clinicians nationally and especially in Ontario
  • Deep knowledge of Oncology, particularly in the areas of breast, thyroid, and lung cancers and precision medicines
  • Ability to effectively engage thought leaders and other external stakeholders
  • Proven track record as a high-performing customer-facing professional in a virtual world
  • Strong business acumen to identify opportunities through data and insights and plan solutions
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in complex and dynamic environments, manage time, and competing priorities
