About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Communications Specialist to join our team at SAP Labs Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content across a multi-channel environment, while also managing events and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communications Support
    • Provide internal communications support for the SAP Labs Montreal Office, aligning with the national comms strategy and teammates in Vancouver and Waterloo.
  • Content Creation
    • Create compelling and engaging content across a multi-channel environment.
  • Event Management
    • Create and manage events (in-person, virtual and hybrid).
    • Take part in planning, promoting, and executing on national events as needed.
  • Project Management
    • Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines and budgets, and execute end-to-end.
    • Define project scope and objectives, determine a work plan for team members to support events as needed, track event performance periodically and identify areas for improvement.
  • Graphic Design
    • Create compelling and effective graphic designs and marketing collateral, including digital signage, SharePoint landing pages, e-mail banners, newsletters and event branding.
  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Turn great event recaps into social media shareables.
  • Support Functions
    • Provide logistics support for Managing Director's office as necessary: liaising with event suppliers, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and coordinating meeting logistics, etc.
    • Communicate and collaborate with internal partners (e.g. IT, Facilities, Security) as well as external SAP vendors such as caterers and event companies.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and writing skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Event coordination and project management skills.
    • Graphic design skills and experience with Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in the tech industry is an asset.
